What is the date of the convention?
The convention will be held November 8-10, 2024.
Where is the convention located?
The convention will take place at the Ottawa Convention Centre, located at 789 Convention Blvd, Ottawa, ON K1A 0A9.
How do I get to the convention centre?
If you would like to take public transit you can find the planner here: https://plan.octranspo.com/plan. Ottawa is also served by Uber and Lyft as well was taxis.
Can I attend if I am under voting age?
Anyone 12 and over can attend and vote if they meet the membership criteria. Canadian Future Party does not offer chaperones.
Are there arranged discounts for flights?
The Canadian Future Party has a discount code with Porter Airlines. This will be provided when you book.
Are there accommodations?
There is a group rate at the Marriott Courtyard onsite. The booking link will be provided after you register. Rooms must be booked by October 11, 2024.
Can I participate online?
There is no online participation at this time. The event will be recorded however so the video of applicable agenda items can be viewed at a later date.
Are my fees tax deductible?
A portion of your fees will be tax deductible. It is expected that approximately $200 of your fee will be eligible for a tax receipt. The final amount will be available closer to the date of the event.

Can I volunteer?

Can I bring a family member?
You can bring a guest but if they are not a member they would need to attend as an observer.
